The rounded, organic shape of the vase is inspired by the traditional Japanese metal vases made by local craftsmen by hand for centuries. The slightly roughened ceramic exterior with subtle colour variations adds to the overall, natural appearance of these pieces and to the unique character of each individual vase. The vases of the CEOLA series have a matt finish, a rough-glazed exterior, and are made of robust ceramics. Small imperfections, slight colour variations and visible lines are marks left behind by manufacturing process. They make each piece one of a kind.
