Cookie Policy.
Last updated: 11 June 2026
Short version: Fetch only uses essential, first-party browser storage — the things needed to keep you signed in, keep your cart, and remember your preferences. We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
1. Cookies and similar storage
“Cookies” are small pieces of data a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies include localStorage (data saved by the site in your browser, never sent automatically with requests) and Cache Storage (used by our service worker to speed the site up). The Fetch storefront currently sets no traditional cookies at all — everything we store on your device uses localStorage and Cache Storage, listed below.
2. What we store on your device
All of the following are essential, first-party entries set by Fetch itself:
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| fetch-cookie-consent | localStorage | Remembers the choice you made in the cookie banner so we don't ask again. | Until you clear your browser data |
| dash-auth | localStorage | Keeps you signed in (your session tokens and basic identity). | Until you sign out or clear your browser data |
| dash-cart | localStorage | Your shopping cart and chosen delivery address. | Until you clear your browser data |
| fetch-guest-favorites | localStorage | Products you favourited before signing in. | Until you clear your browser data |
| fetch-guest-store-favorites | localStorage | Stores you favourited before signing in. | Until you clear your browser data |
| fetch-recent-searches | localStorage | Your recent searches, shown as suggestions in the search bar. | Until you clear your browser data |
| fetch-recently-viewed | localStorage | Products you viewed recently, shown in the “Recently viewed” rail. | Until you clear your browser data |
| Service worker cache | Cache Storage | Caches pages and images on your device so the site loads faster and partly works offline. | Refreshed automatically with each new release |
3. Third-party services
We do not load any third-party analytics or advertising scripts. Two third-party services are used for specific features, and they only run when you use those features:
- Google Maps — loaded when you open the address picker or an order map. Google may set its own cookies and processes your IP address under its own privacy policy.
- Saferpay (Worldline)— when you pay, you are taken to the payment provider’s secure hosted page on its own domain, which uses its own strictly necessary cookies to process the payment.
4. Your choice
The first time you visit, a banner asks for your cookie preference. Because everything we set is essential, choosing “Necessary only” and “Accept all” currently has the same practical effect — but we record your choice and will honour it if we ever introduce optional (non-essential) services. You can change or clear your choice at any time by deleting the fetch-cookie-consent entry in your browser’s site data, after which the banner will appear again.
You can also clear all of the entries above through your browser settings. Note that clearing them signs you out and empties your cart.
5. More information
