Accessibility Statement.
Last updated: 11 June 2026
We want everyone to be able to shop on Fetch, including people who rely on assistive technology. This page describes what we do to make the marketplace accessible, where we still fall short, and how to tell us when something doesn't work for you.
1. Our standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA, in line with the requirements of the European Accessibility Act as implemented in the Republic of Cyprus.
2. What we do
- Semantic HTML with landmarks, headings and labelled navigation.
- Full keyboard operability — interactive elements are focusable, with visible focus outlines, and a “skip to content” link on shop pages.
- Alternative text for meaningful images, and text fallbacks where images fail.
- Respect for the prefers-reduced-motion setting — animations are reduced or removed for users who request it.
- Colour choices checked for sufficient contrast against our backgrounds.
- A responsive layout usable from small phones (360 px) up to desktop.
3. Known limitations
- Maps — the interactive maps used for address selection and order tracking are provided by a third party and are not fully operable by keyboard or screen reader. The information they show (your delivery address, order status) is always also available as text.
- Payment pages— payment is completed on our payment provider’s hosted pages, whose accessibility is controlled by the provider.
- Product content — product names, descriptions and images are supplied by partner stores, and their quality (including image alternative text) can vary. We are working with partners to improve this.
4. Feedback and contact
If you find a part of the site you cannot use, we want to know. Contact us and tell us the page and the problem you hit, and we will work to fix it or provide the information you need in another form.
