Bartoline Patent Knotting is a quick drying solution for sealing knots and resinous areas of bare timber, prior to the application of paints, waxes or polishes.PreparationEnsure that the wood to be treated is thoroughly clean and dry. Remove excessresinous matter or loose particles. Shake container well before use.ApplicationApply 1-2 liberal coats using a brush, or lint free cloth. Allow to dry between coats.Touch dry in 5-10 minutes. Can be re-coated after 30 minutes under normalconditions. When the treated area is to be over-coated with a water-based coatingsystem, apply the knotting solution more sparingly, and once dry lightly abrade thesurface to provide a key before over-coating
