Styled in a transparent ruby red finish, Ovation's Applause Balladeer AB24II is an acoustic/electric guitar featuring a single-cutaway, mid-depth Lyrachord body with a spruce top and quarter-sawn, scalloped "X" bracing. If projection on a stage is your primary goal, then this acoustic/electric guitar is more than up for the task: the rounded-back body and resonant top facilitate a clear, balanced, and complex tone. A rosewood bridge and abalone rosette round out the body. Its nato mahogany neck has a 25.25" scale and a 20-fret rosewood fingerboard with a 10" radius, demarcated by abalone dot inlays. A set of die-cast sealed tuners secure the strings at the headstock.
