Magnetic Bugs Puzzle (2 years+)

This 10 piece wooden fishing puzzle helps young children learn about the range of insects found in the countryside. The setup of the puzzle is a large wooden board with various magnetic bug species in shaped holes, which allows your child to use the magnetic ‘net’ to catch each shaped piece, by placing the magnet on the end of the ‘net’ string against the centre of a puzzle piece.Once they have ‘caught’ all of the bugs, they can then try and fit all the pieces back into the shaped slots either using the rod or not. Puzzles are a great way to help your child develop spatial awareness, problem solving, shape recognition and minor-motor co-ordination skills from a young age whilst having fun as they play.
