Insectosec

InsectoSec is a dustable powder made from fossilized diatoms which controls effectively the red fowl mite and other crawling insects. The effect is based on absorption of the lipid layer of the arthropod chitin exoskeletons. By destroying the natural water barrier InsectoSec is leading to death of the harmful insects through dessication. Active ingredient: Silicium dioxide/Kieselgur (diatomaceous earth) Instruction of use: Biocide for poultry farmers and pest control. Both dust application and liquid application are possible. Refuges of the red mite have to be found and coated with a fine film of the product. InsectoSec should no be applied while using beneficials.
