• Rapid antigen test for nasal swabs.• Swab is applied by applying only 2.5 cm from the front of the nose.This is not a nasopharyngeal test!Wiping is done by applying only 2.5 cm!The SARS-CoV-2 Rapid Antigen Assay is a qualitative membrane chromatographic immunomethod for the qualitative detection of SARS-CoV-2 virus nucleocapsid protein antigen in human nasal swab specimens.After processing the samples and applying them to the test cassette, the SARS-CoV-2 antigens, if present in the sample, will react with particles coated with anti-SARS-CoV-2 antibodies that have been immobilized in the test strip. The mixture then travels through the membrane by capillary forces. The antigen-conjugate complexes travel through the test strip to the reaction area, where they are captured by a line of antibodies bound to the membrane.The results are interpreted visually after 15 minutes based on the presence or absence of visible colored lines.The test was included in the list of antigen tests for which the Ministry issued an exemption pursuant to Section 4, Paragraph 8 of Government Decree No. 56 2015 Coll.The product is for single use only; do not recycle it.
