This Ernie Ball RPS nickel wound Super Slinky (9-42) string set for electric guitar feature reinforced plain strings, making them less prone to breakages, increasing tuning stability and giving longer string life. The lock twist of the ball ends, where most breakages occur, are tightly wrapped in Bronze wire to reduce snapping. The wound strings are the same as found in the normal slinky packs.
