Three cute but wild creatures make dinner time entertaining for the little ones! Holly Birkby was originally trained as a jeweller, has worked as a design lecturer and in fields as diverse as foundry-work and floristry. In addition to her product design work for Carrol Boyes, she makes drawings, bronzes and silver art jewellery. Her designs are simple, modern and sometimes playful with clean, elegant lines which are well expressed by the graphic quality and purity of laser-cut stainless steel. Her Alicanto, Moby and Sanctuary stainless steel ranges show the influence of fifties and sixties graphics and Scandinavian design while the Sanctuary pewter range combines modernism with the enigmatic quality of ancient artifacts.
