This Ernie Ball RPS nickel wound Power Slinky (11-48) string set for electric guitar features reinforced plain strings (treble side). This gives them less chance of breaking, increases the instruments tuning stability and therefore can increase the life! The lock twist of the ball ends, where most breakages occur, are tightly wrapped in Bronze wire to reduce snapping. The wound strings are the same as found in the normal slinky packs.
